Product Information
What better way to experience authentic Moroccan cooking than with this coal burner. This is the traditional method used for tagine cooking in Morocco. Heat the coals (either in the burner itself of from the barbecue) place in the coal burner and put your tagine on top to begin the slow cooking process. If you are entertaining outside, simply leave the tagine on the burner to keep warm. This coal burner can also double as a BBQ.
These coal burners are terracotta and unglazed. They can be used with tagines up to 35cm in size.
Measurements (approximate only): diameter = 25cm, height = 17cm
Please note: There may be slight chips and cracks, and some can often have blackened marks on them. This is not a fault in any way and does not affect its performance. The traditional coal burner is not made for its beauty but for its performance. When using please ensure you place the coal burner on a surface that will not be affected by high heat. If placing on a table ensure you have a tile or heat resistant mat underneath to prevent marks on the table.
