ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

When you visit Gourmet Cook or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You automatically give consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

ORDERING / PAYMENTS

When you place an order with us you agree to pay in full for the goods plus any shipping and handling charges.  All orders must be paid in full prior to goods being despatched.  Payment for goods must be received 7 days after order is placed, otherwise Gourmet Cook reserves the right to relist the item for resale.  Any payments received require that funds be cleared before we will despatch goods.  Please understand that if you pay by cheque, this process can often take 3-4 days. 

When you make a payment to Gourmet Cook by Paypal/Credit card, no credit card details are stored by Gourmet Cook. All details are kept securely by Paypal. If any breaches occur, you will need to bring this to the attention of Paypal, as Gourmet Cook only acts as a middle entity.

Your Personal details such as name and address do get stored by Gourmet Cook, and we will use these to send future communications to you. At any time you may opt to stop receiving these emails. Gourmet Cook will promptly remove you from any lists. No information will be given out to any other party.

SHIPPING

Please note that shipping charges are calculated at the end of the ordering proccess. Before this, it may appear as a zero value. This is due to the fact that addressing and product selection may not be complete until you near the end of the order process.  At this stage you can still reveiw your order before it is finalised.

Gourmet Cook has placed a subsidy most of our freight charges. Gourmet Cook reserves the right to charge extra on freight if they exceed our assumed amount. By agreeing to the terms and conditions you agree that Gourmet Cook may charge you more under certain circumstances . If you believe you might fall into this category, it is best to contact us on 1-800-664-691 during business hours or email us to obtain a quote.

RETURNS POLICY

We at Gourmet Cook are totally committed to the products we sell and as such if you are not 100% happy with them we will gladly offer an exchange or refund.  All returns must be made within 14 days from receipt of goods.  Goods returned must be unused, in their original packaging, and not have been damaged by the purchaser.  The return of goods will be at the purchaser's own costs and risks, and to this effect, we strongly recommend items be insured for loss or damage on return.  Once goods are received and inspected by us, any refunds will be issued less shipping and handling charges.  Gourmet Cook reserves the right to reject any claims if any of these conditions are not met.

SPECIALS ONLINE -  VOUCHERS

From week to week the Gourmet Cook has limited specials. These are only available during the time frames indicated, and if a gift voucher is included this voucher must be used within 3 months of purchasing the special and is not redeemable for cash. The voucher can not be used at time of purchase, it must be used on a seperate transaction. If the good purchased are returned the Voucher will then be voided. Any disputes out of these specials, and Gourmet Cook will have the last and final decision on any outcome. Please note that there is a limit of one Voucher per order unless otherwise stated.

SPECIALS ONLINE -  CLEARANCE

From time to time, we will have special items in our clearance section. These are limited amounts and are not able to be used for other products once sold out. By placing these items in to a shopping cart does not warrant the purchase or rights to this item. Only fully paid purchases will warrant the item to be yours. Gourmet Cook reserves the right to sell these items to the first customer who pays in full and has confirmation of payment.

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
